The Bachelor of Political Science Program in Politics and Government aims to develop graduates with comprehensive knowledge in political science and politics and government Graduates are able to apply their knowledge to political and governmental phenomena including power relations in contemporary society, in a creative and academically sound manner They demonstrate ethics, integrity, and leadership in academic and professional contexts They are aware of their rights and duties, responsible, and possess a strong sense of public consciousness They respect diversity in ideas, ideologies, ethnicity, race, gender, and culture They possess analytical skills for both lifelong learning and professional development They demonstrate rational thinking, sound judgment, and critical thinking They are proactive and eager to continuously learn, particularly about contemporary political, social, economic, and cultural phenomena with an open-minded perspective This aligns with Thailand’s 20-Year National Strategy (2018–2037) which emphasizes balanced development in security, economy, society, and the environment
Admission Requirements
The program accepts both Thai and international students who are proficient in Thai (speaking, reading, and writing) Admission criteria follow the regulations of Walailak University The program committee may establish additional requirements as deemed appropriate
Students from other programs within the university may apply for credit transfer into this program Subject to the discretion of the Dean and approval of the program committee
