On August 26, 2026, the atmosphere surrounding the election of the Student Committee for the Politics and Government Program at the School of Political Science and Public Administration, Walailak University, was vibrant and engaging.
Following the opening of the ballot boxes at 11:00 AM at the Hua Taphan Meeting Room on the 3rd floor of the Medical Center Building, students steadily arrived to exercise their voting rights. They participated in shaping the future and selecting representatives to drive the program’s student activities and initiatives for the upcoming year.
This year’s election features two competing student parties running passionate campaigns:

Ballot No. 1: New Vision Party, led by Mr. Ponnatchapon Phetsen (Candidate for President)

Ballot No. 2: United Development Governance Party, led by Mr. Natchanon Phetsawat (Candidate for President)
Voting remained open continuously until 3:00 PM today, followed immediately by the closing of the ballot boxes and the official vote-counting process.
