Sometimes, the “confidence to begin anew” does not come from students alone. It may begin on the day when parents see that their children are about to step into a new home where they will be closely cared for. A good beginning does not start only in the classroom; it begins with understanding, trust, and shared care between home and university.
On 6 May 2026, the School of Political Science and Public Administration, Walailak University, organized the Parents’ Meeting for New Students for Academic Year 2026. The activity provided an opportunity for parents to become familiar with the School, its administrators, faculty members, and student support system before new students fully begin their university life.
The atmosphere of the activity was warm, friendly, and filled with a shared commitment between “home” and the “university.” Caring for students is not the responsibility of any one party alone, but a collaboration among everyone who wishes to see new students begin their learning journey with confidence, happiness, and readiness to grow into quality graduates.
