On 10 December 2025, the Political Science (Politics and Government) Program of Walailak University organized a field trip titled “Exploring Religion, Beliefs, and Multiculturalism in Nakhon Si Thammarat City.” The activity was conducted as part of the courses Religion and Politics and Religion in the Contemporary World, with Dr. Ayna Thaipratan serving as the project leader and overseeing learning throughout the activity.

Students visited and attended lectures at significant religious and cultural sites in Nakhon Si Thammarat, including Bethlehem Church, Salahuddin Mosque (Tha Chang Mosque), the Nakhon Si Thammarat National Museum, and Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan. The visit also included Chao Mae Thapthim Shrine, the Phra Sayom Base archaeological site, and the Phra Suea Mueang Shrine.

This activity enabled students to learn through real-world experience and to appreciate the value of religious diversity and multiculturalism, which form an essential foundation for work in politics, governance, and coexistence in a democratic society. It fosters political science graduates who understand the world, understand society, and are ready to embrace diversity—choose Political Science at Walailak University.
