POLSPA Joins WU International Day 2026, Welcoming Indonesian Delegates and Showcasing Global Educational Excellence

On July 9, 2026, the School of Political Science and Public Administration (POLSPA) at Walailak University participated in WU International Day (WUiDAY 2026). Organized for the first time by Walailak University under the theme “BRIDGES: Bridging Regional and International Dialogue for Global Education and Sustainability,” the event took place at the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Natural History Museum to expand international perspectives and establish educational partnerships with global organizations.

During the event, POLSPA extended a warm welcome to distinguished guests from Markandeya University, Indonesia, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. I Wayan Numertayasa (Rector) and Asst. Prof. Pande Agus Adiwijaya (Vice Rector for Academic and Cooperation Affairs). The delegates visited the School’s exhibition booth and engaged in academic exchanges, highlighting strong institutional ties and expanding educational networks within the ASEAN region.

Additionally, POLSPA hosted an exhibition booth showcasing its academic strengths and program highlights. Assistant Professor Dr. Ratchatathip Upathampracha, a faculty member of the Public Administration Program, along with fellow lecturers and students, presented educational strategies, academic collaboration frameworks with partner universities, and outstanding student achievements, demonstrating the School’s readiness to cultivate graduates for the global stage.

POLSPA’s active participation in WUiDAY 2026 reflects its strong commitment to fostering internationalization in practical terms. It also provides valuable opportunities for faculty and students to integrate knowledge and build global partnerships for sustainable educational development.
