From January 12–15, 2025, the Political Science Program (Politics and Government) organized a field trip to Bangkok.
The purpose of this trip was to provide students with a deeper understanding and firsthand experience of political science education at other institutions that play a vital role in producing graduates in this field, as well as to visit important sites in Thai political history.
Key destinations included the Bhumjaithai Party, the People’s Party, Thammasat University (Tha Prachan Campus), King Prajadhipok Museum, and the Democracy Learning Center.
Through this study visit, students gained insights into the roles and functions of key political institutions in a democratic system—such as political parties and the House of Representatives–Parliament. They also experienced learning environments at other political science institutions, visited historically significant political sites, and were inspired to further their academic research and future careers in political science.
