Welcome Dinner : Reflections by Inter-Asia Co-Founders (Inter-Asia Cultural Studies Conference 15th, Day 2)

On July 24, 2025, the second day of the 15th Inter-Asia Cultural Studies Conference, held at the Twin Lotus Hotel in Nakhon Si Thammarat, proceeded smoothly and was filled with academic value. Throughout the day, various sessions and panels were held, featuring over 500 international scholars from 15 countries. They engaged in lively discussions, exchanging knowledge and perspectives on culture, society, and politics in the contemporary Asian context.

In the evening, the “Welcome Dinner & Reflections by Inter-Asia Co-Founders” took place, marking a moment of celebration and warm welcome for participants from around the world. The event also provided a platform for the host representatives to share their valuable visions in alignment with the Inter-Asia Cultural Studies network’s philosophy.

The event was honored by the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Neeranut Kaewprasert Rakhungthong, Acting Dean of the School of Political Science and Public Administration, Walailak University; Dr. Kanop Ketchat, Mayor of Nakhon Si Thammarat; and Mr. Montree Manator, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Nakhon Si Thammarat Office, who jointly delivered the opening remarks.

Additionally, the event was graced by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Charan Boonkhan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Associate Professor Dr. Surin Maisrikrod, Vice President for International Affairs and Educational Development, Walailak University, who attended the event as representatives of the university and co-hosts.

The evening’s atmosphere was filled with friendship, cultural diversity, and academic collaboration from various institutions. It provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships within the Inter-Asia network, connecting both pioneering and new generations.
