On June 24, 2025, the Political Science and International Relations Program, School of Political Science and Public Administration, Walailak University, Discussed Academic and Research Collaboration with the International Studies Center (ISC)

The program had the honor of welcoming Dr. Anuson Chinwanno, Director of the International Studies Center (ISC), and his team during their visit to the university to discuss potential academic and research collaborations. The aim of the discussions was to enhance the quality of the program and develop graduates who are ready to face the changes in the global landscape.

Key topics during the discussion included the review of the Political Science and International Relations curriculum in terms of course structure and the development of graduates’ skills. Opportunities were also explored for students to participate in internships at ISC for 4 to 8 months between October and April. Furthermore, the collaboration would include encouraging faculty members to publish articles with ISC, research cooperation, and connections with various departments in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, the possibility of inviting guest lecturers from ISC and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deliver special lectures for students was discussed, along with organizing career guidance sessions to prepare students for civil service exams in the diplomatic field.

The School of Political Science and Public Administration and the Political Science and International Relations Program express sincere gratitude to Dr. Anuson Chinwanno and his team for honoring us with their visit and sharing valuable ideas. This marks an important step in advancing academic collaboration and broadening the international perspective for our students.
