Special Lecture by Professor Dr. G. Vijayachandra Naidu from Jawaharlal Nehru University
On Monday, May 20, 2024, from 10:00 to 12:00 in Meeting Room 2 of Academic Building 5, the Political Science Program’s International Relations Major and the Center for Geosocial and Cultural Research for Sustainable Development, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Siriporn Somboonburana, jointly collaborated to host an exclusive forum for staff members to expand their knowledge further. Professor Dr G. Vijayachandra Naidu of Jawaharlal Nehru University, India, was invited to deliver a special lecture on “Multilateralism and Regional Security: ASEAN & South Asia” to facilitate the subsequent discussions and exchanges.
Professor Naidu founded the Center for Indo-Pacific Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University and possesses specialized knowledge in the political economy, security, and regional multilateralism of Indo-Pacific affairs. In addition to educating attendees on the significance of security multilateralism between ASEAN and India, this special lecture offered a glimpse of the potential for future research in the connectivity region between India and Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, and Myanmar.
