Thapanee Eadsrichai Meets with and Shares Her Experiences with First-Year Political Science Students
February 23, 2022
The Political Science Program of the School of Political Science and Laws hosted a “Knowing Our Neighbor Countries Society” project on February 23, 2022, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. This project is part of the Homeroom course’s instructional activities for first-year political science students. The primary purpose of the project is to increase students’ capabilities in a variety of fields, including learning about the societies of neighboring countries, which is expected to effectively prepare students to live in a varied society with a broader worldview.
In this project’s activity, the Political Science Program was honored to have Khun Thapanee Eadsrichai, founder of The Reporters online news agency and a former famous television reporter, meet and speak with students about her extensive experiences making news abroad and provide students with useful understandings about the social, cultural, and political issues in various countries. This forum enabled students to get a broader understanding of social science knowledge and a wider range of employment opportunities in the world today. In addition, it is considered that these skills are beneficial to students’ perspectives and might motivate them in the future.
